for everyone
i do not write as an authority on anything, but as one who realizes that there are a lot of questions and the answers that have been passed on may not always be right. we must continually look at the church through its centuries and see where we have been off and where we have been correct and after that we need to put that against where we are now. i believe that to serve the Kingdom must be the priority of all believers and i don't know what that looks like in everyone's life. we must be careful to say something is what God desires because sometimes it is what we desire and saying God desires it as well is a tricky thing. the Spirit guides our hearts and minds and lives, but we need to be listening more intently to avoid the noise of the world.

(as a sidenote i have friends and family serving in the military whom i love and respect, and do not know if i am saying there is never a time for a "just" war, but i am saying Jesus did not advocate violence of any kind and we tend to think that way first)
